Week Seven: Lowcountry Top Performers

Week Seven is in the books Lowcountry high school football fans. But before we move ahead, we would like to reflect back on some of the top performance from last week. Several athletes from around the area made their presence known on gridiron this past weekend.

Inside, we bring you a list of the top performers from around the area!

Baptist Hill QB Corey Fields was 16 of 22 passing for 463 yards, and threw 7 touchdown passes. Fields also ran for 85 yards on the ground and one additional score.

Baptist Hill WR Richard Bailey caught 7 passes for 264 yards and 2 touchdowns.

Colleton County senior quarterback Craig Grant threw for 472 yards and 6 touchdown passes; school record.

Colleton County senior LB Jalen Lawton had a total of 12 tackles, a forced fumble, and a fumble recovery.

Wando QB Cale Lewis completed 24 out of 47 passes for 220 yards and threw 3 touchdown passes.

Stratford junior RB Mario Anderson had 13 rushes for 204 and 2 touchdowns.

Cross FB/2018 Wofford commit Nate Walker rushed for 240 yards Friday night.

Ashley Ridge running back Nick Cunningham went over the 200-yard rushing barrier, and scored 4 TDs for the Swamp Foxes.

James Island Charter LB Germonta Brisbane tallied up 27 tackles (17 solo tackles), 1 blocked field goal, 1 sack, and 3 TFLs.

Beaufort senior RB Kyleik Middleton ran for 350 yards and 3 touchdowns.

Timberland RB Roger Gibbs carried the ball 25 times for 162 yards and 1 touchdown.

First Baptist 2019 RB prospect Michel Dukes had 11 rushed for 101 yards and 5 scores.

First Baptist WR Tylan Major caught 4 passes for 117 yards and two scores.

First Baptist 2019 QB Tramez Brown completed 7 out of 9 passes for 229 yards and 3 touchdowns.

Andrews DT Sayvon Morris racked up 12 tackles, 3 TFL, and 1 sack.

Thomas Heyward freshman running back JR Patterson carried the ball 15 times for 203 yards and 2 TDs.

2019 cornerback Tyrin Gamble of Carvers Bay had 6 tackles and an interception vs. Mullins last Friday night.
